Editorial Design
The focus behind Roam was to create an editorial spread with a clean and consistent layout, featuring high-quality images that showcase the outdoors. The design highlighted the copy and the corresponding images.
The design approach for Roam is anchored in simplicity and elegance, allowing the breathtaking photography and compelling stories to take center stage. I selected a color palette inspired by nature—earthy tones of forest greens, deep blues, and warm browns—to evoke the landscapes featured within. The typography balances modernity with readability, ensuring that each word guides the reader deeper into the narrative.
Layouts were meticulously crafted to reflect the ebb and flow of a journey, with spacious margins and dynamic visuals that mimic the expansiveness of the outdoors. Every page turn is designed to feel like the next step on a path, leading readers through varied terrains of thought and inspiration.
